Middle School

The Midland Valley Christian Academy middle school program instruction is given with a Christian worldview perspective, instilling in even our youngest students that God is at the heart of everything, and our efforts and knowledge are to be put to use in the fulfillment of His plan and purpose for our lives.

Small class size and a qualified staff provide the attention and instruction needed to bring out the very best in each student. The acquisition of exceptional reading, writing, and math skills is the goal for our middle school students. Our science and social studies programs compliment our core curriculum. Additionally, these fundamental skills are enhanced with instruction in our enrichment areas including computer technology, music, communications, art, physical education, and numerous virtual school offerings. Our rigorous curriculum consist of resources from Abeka and  Bob Jones University that is instructed on an above grade-level standard.

Our goal is to provide students with everything they need to be successful not only in middle school, but also as they prepare for high school, college, and beyond.  It is written, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6 KJV). As educators, we strive to be more than just content teachers.  We want to cultivate our students' love for God and instill in them a love of learning as well as teach them to be respectful, responsible, kind, hardworking, and independent. Our core beliefs rest in this statement, “In all things we do, we strive to expand the kingdom by bringing children of God CLOSER through mind, body, and spirit.”
